If you drag a set of Bell Times directly to an specific day or weekday header, you may not control its appearance, affect the cycle or add a title to it. More importantly, you cannot influence how this affects the cycle. Instead, we recommend using Special Days containing a specific set of Bell Times. Most often, this is the appropriate choice, unless you are only affecting the schedule and nothing else.

Use Bell Times by themselves when you wish to affect the Bell Times only, while retaining the Cycle Day and not have a symbol or title appear every time. For example, if your Bell times are specific on Fridays, you probably need to use Bell Times only and not Special Days. On Weekends, we normally use Special Days with no icon and a different set of Bell Times, while pushing the next Cycle day forward so it continues on the Monday.
