A Studyo yearly school configuration is connected to two important concepts:

Accounts

An account is what the user uses to connect to all their Studyo configurations. It can be defined within Studyo using their email and a password, or, be connected to an authentication system such as Google and others.

Records

Each record in a school configuration represents a person and their role within the school: teacher, student, parent. Administrators are considered teachers without any assigned sections. Individual users also exist outside of Studyo Schools.

Each Account can be connected to multiple Records, in different Configurations, or even within the same one.

For example, a parent can have two children in the same or different Studyo schools. A teacher in one school can have a child in another school, etc.
